The 7th technical committee meeting for mechanical engineering started from today at Phuntsholing. The technical meeting shall be for two days and during the period, standards for power tiller which was there for wide circulation, test codes for it, the standards for reaper and rice mill and their test codes shall be discussed and if possible endorsed for wide circulation after the meeting. All the members were present except from FMCL and RSTA as they had other committed assignments. The other TC members are from AMC, TTI, CDCL, DoA and BSB who all were present.
At the moment, the standard for power tiller had been adopted and hence shall be submitted to Bhutan Standard Burea board for national endrosment. The meeting was organized jointly by BSB and AMC
