Agriculture Machinery Centre is imparting one month training on maintenance and operation of power tiller for geog power tiller operators simultaneously in Paro and Khangma offices from September 4, 2017. There are 25 and 17 trainees attending the training in these two offices respectively in this batch.
The trainees’ nomination had been received through the Farm Machinery Corporation Limited as trainees shall be employed upon the completion of the training by the latter as geog operators to operate the power tillers distributed in the geog to increase the farm mechanization operation through hiring services. Already in this financial year, two trainings had been completed. The first was the mechanic training on over hauling of diesel engine, module I for technical staff of FMCL. The second was the in-service refresher course on Tractor operation. The farm mechanization training activities is the third mandate of the office with farm machinery technology generation and ensuring safe and quality machines through standards adoption through Bhutan Standard Bureau and testing are the other two mandates for the centre.
